He was along with his three elder siblings who lived with their parents in a small house near the countryside. Louis served as church organist for few years of his childhood. At the age of 10, he received a scholarship to attend the <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/rtiwala.com\/how-constable-sudarshan-shinde-saved-kamala-mills-fire-victims\/#.Wk04ubpuL4g\">National Institute for Blind Youth <\/a>in Paris<\/em><\/strong>. Later on, he went to the Royal Institute of Blind Youth and became a teacher and worked as a part-time musician.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What is Braille System?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Being an excellent student at the school, <a href=\"https:\/\/cc.rti.link\/azd\">Louis<\/a> learned both academic and vocational skills. There he met <strong><em>Charles Barbier<\/em><\/strong>, a French army server, who actually invented a code using different combinations of 12 raised dot<em>s<\/em> to represent different sounds. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Charles_Barbier\">Barbier<\/a> called this system <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thehansindia.com\/posts\/index\/Telangana\/2018-01-03\/Braille-Day-walkathon-by-Netra-Vidyalaya\/349708\">sonography for the blind ones <\/a>who would decode the dots by touching them. The sound system was being complexed Louis worked for it over years and formed a simpler system w.r.t. letters. Louis was ten years old when he met Charles, and by 15 he had changed the lives of people who are blind forever, with his 6-dot communication system.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Braille is <strong>not its own language but rather a code<\/strong> that can be translated into many languages.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Braille\u2019s system was so much promising that it got extended to math and music as well. Louis created symbols for both math and music, he created code for blind musicians to read and write music. In 1829, he\u00a0published the <a href=\"https:\/\/starofmysore.com\/louis-braille-award-presentation-tomorrow\/\">Method of Writing Words<\/a>, Music and Plain Song By Means of Dots, for Use by the Blind and Arranged by them.<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>The Braille System got its <strong>approval only after his death<\/strong>. Although Braille put on so much effort for the improvisation of his system, to help blind students, he was never appreciated.
