How did Aam Aadmi Party originate?<\/h2>\n

Aam Aadmi Party<\/a>, popularly called AAP, was formally launched on November 26, 2012, and became the ruling party of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The party came into existence in the Legislative Assembly election<\/a> held in 2013, winning 67 seats out 70. With such a massive number and defeating the other two major political party viz BJP (Bhartiya Janta Party)<\/a> and Congress (Indian National Congress).
\nThe whole idea was to demand the Jan Lokpal Bill to be passed in the Rajya Sabha for the Indian Against Corruption movement. This concept was originated by social activist Anna Hazare<\/a> and Arvind Kejriwal but because of their differences w.r.t. political involvement gave rise to the Aam Aadmi Party.<\/p>\n

Why the Inconsistent Wins and Loses of AAP?<\/h3>\n

With such a great win the party gains a huge popularity amongst Delhi and NCR. All where there were great expectations made, that this new party will make Delhi corruption-free. The test of AAP<\/a> began with the renovations of the old government schools and hospitals and the facilities associated with them. The movement moved on to make the pollution-free state with odd and even numbered vehicles to drive alternatively. But very soon they got entangled into Delhi swine flu\u2019s increased number<\/a>, big-name hospitals irresponsibility\u2019s, increased number of female molestation scenarios etc.<\/p>\n

With social fighters like Anna Hazare, Kumar Vishwas<\/a>, Yogendra Yadav, Prashant Bhushan, Kapil Sharma and Vinod Kumar Binni, the Aam Aadmi Party failed to maintain the real essence of their party name in the hearts of Delhi people. The party slowly and of course eventually landed into becoming the political party for the big stakeholders and businessman. In the recent times, the party had huge mutual understanding failures arisen. Such differences in opinions of the members and objectives for the party to be set had invented a lot many fights internally.<\/p>\n

How astonishing was the declaration of Rajya Sabha members?<\/h4>\n

The Aam Aadmi Party\u2019s, Political Affairs Committee<\/a> announced the names of Sanjay Singh, Sushil Gupta and ND Gupta as the party\u2019s nominees for Rajya Sabha. The prominent chartered accountant and former president of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India N D Gupta, businessman and social activist Sushil Gupta and party functionary Sanjay Singh.

Sushil Gupta, a law graduate<\/a>, his affidavit states his total income was Rs 1.7 lakh but his total assets are at a whopping in Crores.
\nChief Minister Manish Sisodia announced his name on Wednesday saying, “We wanted three big names who have contributed to the nation. Sushil Gupta has worked for education and health in Delhi and Haryana. He has charitable schools in 14 districts of Delhi<\/a> and Haryana.”<\/p>\n

On this note, a disgruntled Kumar Vishwas stated that he was punished for speaking the truth. Vishwas who had a not-so-good relationship with the party in the past felt disrespected as he expected to be nominated for the same. The Aam Aadmi Party and its Rajya Sabha participation will take place on January 16, 2018. Only time can reveal if the AAP is any diffrent from the mainstream national parties like INC and the BJP or does it still believe in it’s root agenda brought across by the Anna-Arvind duo!!<\/p>\n
