Valentine’s Day History: Who was St.Valentine?
Valentine’s Day is celebrated commemorating Saint Valentine’s of Rome who was imprisoned for performing a wedding for soldiers who were forbidden to marry. It is celebrated annually on February 14 originating as a Western Christian feast day honoring one or two early saints named Valentinus.
