What’s 2.0 or 2Point0 all about?

Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie 2.0 or #2Point0 sounds so weird, isn’t it…? We can resemble it with USB 2.0 (launched in Jul 2000) or to UPA’s 2.0 from 2009-2014 but this thing is neither related to Politics or Technology. This is about the Mega Music Launch Event hosted in Dubai (literally it so huge).

Why was the 2Point0’s music launch event a sudden buzz?

Well, you maybe be surprised to know about the event details, which are as follow:

It was hosted in Dubai at Burj Park, world famous sprawling 11,300 sq meter lawn, which sits next to Burj Khalifa and the live music performance by the musical maestro and music composer A R Rahman & 125+ 125 symphony musicians.

There were three hosts for the different set of audiences as the Bollywood’s renowned filmmaker Karan Johar will host the show in Hindi, while Tollywood star Rana Daggubati in Telugu and RJ Balaji will present the event in Tamil.

The Produces and Marketing Team of Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 revealed that a 100-foot-tall hot–air balloon will travel the world to promote their film and flown to the sky in Hollywood.

The filmmakers have put up LED screens across the malls for public viewing. About 1 lakh people are expected to watch the show this way as reported by the IE.
Almost 12,000 passes distributed for Free whereas the VIP table at the event was worth Rs 6 lakh or more.
