What makes the Auto Expo so prominent?
Auto Expo in India is one of the largest gatherings of the auto manufacturers in India that the world is eagerly waiting for. It used to be held at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, New Delhi. This time it will showcase many hybrid/electric vehicle versions and super-fast bikes of the big names like BMW, Yamaha, etc. This is the 14th edition of the biennial Auto Expo which will unveil 100 of new vehicles with 24 new launches.

Head Sugato Sen of the Society for Indian Mobile Automobile Manufacturers Association (SIAM) said that this year’s show will be much higher than that of 2016. The new launches and the unveiling of the products will be from across segments – passenger and commercial vehicles and two-wheeler.

The Expo began its show time with the launch of Maruti Suzuki, Renault, KIA Motors along with the launch of the Hyundai Ioniq and Elite i20 (2018) among others. Maruti Suzuki Swift launched in India with a price launched from Rs.4.99 Lakh which is Rs.20,000 more than the previous version boasting of better features, performance, and fuel efficiency figures. Same is the case with the new Facelift launched by Hyundai i20 Elite whose price starts at Rs.5.34 lakh with Google Play Store and Apple android functionalities.

Among the luxury cars, there were new concepts introduced by the BMW series. Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar unveils the BMW6 GT. There was BMW i8 Roadster that would run on Indian roads by the end of the year it can go from 0-100kph in 4.6 seconds and has an all-electric range of 55km. Then there was a BMW i3s which comes with an enhanced range of 280km per charge, does 0-100pkh in 6.9 secs. Also, the big name includes Mahindra Stinger India’s first convertible SUV concept and Mahindra Rexton.

Well there also lead some newest collection of bikes from BMW, Yamaha, and Honda etc. The BMW F750GS is priced at Rs.12.7 Lakhs and the BMWF850GS costs to Rs.13.7 Lakhs. Honda X Blade Motorcycle is unveiled with a sporty and sharp designed language and new full-LED headlamps. Homegrown electric two-wheeler maker launches 22 of its electric motor scooters which promise a range of 80 km on a single charge and AI technologies as well.
