The eldest of 4 siblings, Mukesh Ambani, was born in Yemen in the year 1957 before the family of 6 moved to Mumbai in 1958. The family lived in a humble 2BHK apartment in Bhuleshwar in the southern suburbs of the then Bombay. According to reports, Late Dhirubhai Ambani came to Mumbai, then Bombay, with only Rs. 500 in his pocket.

None of us have heard about a big birthday bash in Antilia on the 19th of April, ever. That’s because the billionaire hates celebrating his birthday for reasons unknown.  However, the only exception was his 50th birthday, back in the year 2007. He is a family man and loves showering his loved ones with gifts from time to time.

5. Stepping into the Late Dhirubhai Ambani’s shoes

Much like Late Dhirubhai Ambani, Mukesh Ambani, too, is a doting father and that is no secret. Following his late father’s footsteps, Ambanis have been making all the efforts to make sure his son, Akash Ambani, is ready to be officially involved in the decision making for Reliance Industries.
